Biography Jeannette Walls

Jeannette Walls was born in Pheonix, Arizona from where she moved around the south. Her family tend to move frequently to avoid the bill collectors. Finally, they ended their moving when they settled in West Virginia. Later, when she turned 17 she moved to New York where she attended Columbia University's Barnard College. From there she became a reporter for New York magazine, Esquire and USA Today. Eventually she published the novel The Glass Castle which climbed the charts and became a #1 seller.  She has also published a few more books and has become a well published author.
