What I chose to read

I chose to read the Glass Castle because I have been told it is a phenomenal book. It seems to be a vook that will hold my attention throughout. I hope it is as good as everyone says it is!

Why I Write- Nation Writing Program

After reading a few on the website I finally decided to write on the why I write by the twins Nnamdi Chukwuocha and Al Mills. They each wrote one poem as to why they write. Each of the poems were very inspiration. I felt like they were both two sincere poets. They truly are there for the good of the "underdog". The poems were both very heart felt and passionate about their work. They both reached me at a deeper level even though I haven't experienced any of these situations. You can find this amazing work at http://www.nwp.org/cs/public/print/resource/3660

"Why I Write."

After reading "Why I Write" I felt a connection with George Orwell. I felt this connection because we did many of the same activities growing up, but unlike him I have no desire to become a published writer. However, growing up much like him I enjoyed making up stories and had a huge imagination. Unlike Orwell I never cared for writing poems, but I did write poems during middle school. I really connected with him because we were similar when it came to writing.
